Through our work, we aim to teach children the 'art of giving' and create an awareness and consciousness of others less fortunate than ourselves
Kidz2Kidz, through our Donations 2 Distribution project, collects essential donated items (such as usable clothing, shoes, toys, blankets, bedding, toiletries, non-perishable foods, nappies etc.) for children in need. These donations are then distributed to the needy by our sponsors, Laser Warehousing and Distribution Company.
The organization works through the co-operation of a number of schools, playgroups and clinics who have agreed to be "drop off" points for donated items from the community. These items are collected, sorted through, packed and distributed to various institutions.
The kidz2Kidz Trust Organization also runs various projects that help our communities. Currently the Kidz2Kidz Santa Shoebox project is the biggest community driven project powered by the Kidz2Kidz Trust Organization. click on www.santashoebox.co.za for more details. With the expansion of our Santa Shoebox project we are looking at expanding the Kidz2Kidz Donations 2 Distribution project into other areas so if you would like to co-ordinate collections and drop offs of donated items to children in your very own community please email kidz2kidz@gmail.com - remember to include your location area.
Other Projects include Teacher2Teachers where we encourage and facilitate the sharing of information between Teachers through the sharing of knowledge and enhancing the mutual understanding of each others realitites and thereby improving education of children in our communities.
Lovy2Kidz is our new an exciting Project which promotes the learning of Self-Love and Self Esteem. We facilitate workshops using tools that encourage reading, art crafts and the children receive the ever popular "Lovy" Cuddle Toy. www.lovy-lovesyou.com
